Hi all, as many of you may be aware, I have been quietly gearing up to start earning money from this platform. More details about that plan will be coming this Sunday, but here’s some of the legal groundwork that’s coming before it. My goal during this process is to create a monetization model that’s both ethical and sustainable, so most of these changes will not overtly impact the user experience of the site. I will not, for example, be using any sort of Amazon or Google tracking services to earn money, or anything of that sort.
Let me walk you through the specific changes. Full links below, or on our Policies page.
Our primary email has changed.
In our broader effort to move away from Google, TFR will be shifting providers from Google to Tuta. I have also taken the opportunity to set up a domain name email.
Our new site-wide contact email is info@thetransfemininereview.com.
As privacy policy changes do not go into effect for 30 days, you can continue to contact us about issues relating to the policy at thetransfemininereview@gmail.com until then.
This change is reflected in our Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and our Disclosure & Disclaimer.
The Transfeminine Review may conduct surveys through our website in the future.
This winter, we relied on Google Forms to collect voter information during our TFR Reader’s Choice Awards. In interest of moving away from Google, we may choose to localize the 2025 Awards on this site or host them elsewhere, TBD.
This change lays the groundwork to host it on the site should we decide to do so.

The Transfeminine Review will begin using Bookshop.org affiliate links in the near future.
I still need to set this up lol. But that’s the plan, and our disclaimer has been updated as such.

The Transfeminine Review does not offer professional advice.
Yeah this should have been in there from the beginning, I must have filled out the terms generator out wrong the first time.

As I mentioned above, more details about our monetization plan will be coming this Sunday. In the meantime, please take the time to review and accept these updated policies for the continued use of this website.
